Hey, what happened to the Renaissance and the Reformation?

Most histories of Europe are divided into the following chapters: the Roman Empire, the Fall of Rome, the Medieval Era, the Renaissance, the Reformation, and then the Enlightenment. In my pageant here, I've put the battles of the Medieval era, the Renaissance, and the Reformation all on the same page. Why have I done that?

I've done that because essential structure of government and human consciousness has remained the same all through out the Medieval Era, the Renaissance, the Reformation: the idea of Christendome, the ranks of peerage, and divne right monarchy. All of the stuff that will go on through out the Medieval Era, the Renaissance, and the Reformation will turn on the decisions of kings, dukes, earls, counts, and viscounts, and the poor serfs are just going to go along with it (with a few exceptions).

The Enlightenment is what will happen when the serfs and peasants finally realize that it doesn't have to be that way.
